Overview
Message Insights is an innovative tool that uses advanced AI vision technology to help you understand what elements of messages drive performance. Instead of manually analyzing thousands of messages and guessing, you can easily digest what content, style, and tone tend to resonate with people via data-backed insights delivered on a weekly basis.
Message Insights is currently in beta. Contact your CSM to learn more about enabling this feature.
View Message Insights
1. Once enabled in your account, navigate to Analytics > AI Message Insights.
2. You'll be taken to the Message Insights page.
3. Here you'll find:
- Key Takeaways: Insights on what type of content performs best
- Action Items: AI-generated suggestions to help increase engagement
- Insights broken down by message element: Subject Lines, Message Structure, Content Characteristics, Image Characteristics, and Call to Actions
4. Hover over the bars in each chart to see the click rate for each metric.
5. Click View Report History at the top of the page to view insights for previous weeks.
Subject Line Insights
Click the Subject Lines tab to get insights on what content and style works best in subject lines, including emojis, personalization, and tone.
The yellow exclamation point indicates that you had no messages with the specific element.
Message Structure insights
Click the Message Structure tab to get insights on what layout and structure people respond to in your messages. This includes if unique products were displayed, if the product prices were shown, message length, and the percentage of text in your messages—and how each text percentage performs.
Content Characteristics
Click the Content Characteristics tab to get insights on what type of message body content tends to perform best, including promotion type, discount type, seasonal reference, emojis in the body, the tone of the body text, and whether or not discounts were shown.
Image Characteristics
Click the Image Characteristics tab to get insights on what color scheme and types of images generate the highest click rates.
Call to Action Insights
Click the Call to Actions tab to see how messages with different numbers of CTAs perform in comparison to each other, as well as the CTA tone that people respond to most often.
