System events reference page

Overview

In this article, you'll find a list of system events available in Cordial. You can additional information about system events in the following articles:

All channels

Event	Action description
`crdl_subscribeStatusChange`	Contact's subscribe status changed. See note about the defined properties for this event.
`message-sent`	Message was sent as directed.

Email

Event	Action description
`bounce`	Email was bounced and unable to be delivered to the address.
`click`	Embedded link was clicked.
`complaint`	Email was marked as spam by the recipient.
`message-stopped`	Message stopped due to Quiet Hours being enabled.
`open`	Email was opened by the recipient.
`optout`	Recipient unsubscribed from the message.

Push

Event	Action description
`crdl_app_close`	App was closed by the user.
`crdl_app_install`	App was installed by the user.
`crdl_app_open`	App was opened by the user.
`crdl_{channelKey}_send_failure`	Error received when trying to send to the device.
`crdl_deep_link_open`	A deep link was opened from within the app.
`crdl_device_notifications_manual_optin`	Push notifications for the app were enabled by the user.
`crdl_device_notifications_manual_optout`	Push notifications for the app were disabled by the user.
`crdl_device_notifications_optout`	Push notifications for the app were disabled automatically.
`crdl_device_notifications_uninstalled`	The application was uninstalled from a device.
`crdl_in_app_message_auto_dismiss`	The in-app message was dismissed automatically.
`crdl_in_app_message_shown`	The in-app message was displayed.
`crdl_in_app_message_manual_dismiss`	The in-app message was closed by the user.
`crdl_inbox_read`	The in-app message was read by the user.
`crdl_in-app-dismissed`	The in-app message was dismissed.
`crdl_notification_tap`	A notification was tapped by the user.

Podium

Event	Action description
`crdl-pdm-actn-expired`	The orchestration session has expired.
`crdl-pdm-actn-failed`	The action associated with the orchestration failed.
`crdl-pdm-actn-filtered`	Contact action has been filtered from the orchestration.
`crdl-pdm-actn-ignored`	The action associated with the orchestration was ignored.
`crdl-pdm-actn-success`	The action associated with the orchestration was a success.
`crdl-pdm-goal-met-organic`	An orchestration goal was met.
`crdl-pdm-triggered`	An orchestration was triggered.

SMS

Event	Action description
`crdl_phone_deactivation`	Phone number was deactivated by the mobile carrier.
`crdl_sms_delivered`	SMS message was delivered by Cordial.
`crdl_sms_failed`	SMS message failed to deliver.
`optout`	Recipient unsubscribed from the message.

REST API

Event	Action description
`crdl_{channelKey}_send_failure`	Error received when trying to send to the device.

Event	Action description
`crdl_contact_update_unique_constraint_error`	A contact update failed because a uniquely constrained attribute value was supplied and is already in use for another contact record.
`crdl_graph_identified`	Phone number was deactivated by the mobile carrier.
`crdl_merged_contacts`	Two contact records were merged into a single record along with respective events and orders.
