How can we help?

Product Insights

Overview

Product Insights surfaces your top-performing and changing products based on catalog, browse, and order data, so you can spot merchandising patterns without building reports by hand. The dashboard shows data from the last 30 days and refreshes once a day. You can use these insights to decide which products to feature in campaigns, which to investigate, and which to pair in cross-sell messaging.

Use case

You could open Product Insights before planning next week’s campaigns, review the Trending Up section to find products gaining momentum, and then feature those products in your next promotional email. You could also use Frequently Purchased Together to identify product pairs for a post-purchase cross-sell message.

Before you begin

  • To use this feature, it must be enabled in your account. Please submit a support ticket or send an email to support@cordial.com to request this feature.
  • Product Insights requires the following data in your account:
    • Product catalog data, stored in either the products collection or a supplement
    • Order history
    • Browse and cart events, typically collected through JavaScript Listeners
    • Product metadata, such as product name, price, and image URL

View the Product Insights dashboard

  1. From the Cordial Dashboard, navigate to Analytics > Product Insights.
  2. Review the dashboard sections. Each section shows a product thumbnail, product name, and the metrics described below.
  3. Select a column header to sort that section in ascending or descending order.

  • Most Viewed: Products with the most browse activity in the last 30 days.
  • Best Sellers: Products with the most orders in the last 30 days.
